About this project
This Uxbridge kitchen had a new stainless steel chimney hood and no duct to the outside. The only way out was up through the attic and the roof.
We ran rigid metal duct from the top of the hood through the ceiling and across a very tight attic, working between the rafters and the insulation. On the roof we cut the opening, set a new roof cap with its flashing under the shingles and sealed every edge so water can’t get in.
The hood now vents straight outside. Dave, the homeowner, gave us five stars on Google and mentioned how clean the crew kept the house. If you are planning a range hood installation with no easy way to vent it, we can look at the attic and roof for you.

Completed installation of new range hood duct work through roof. Work performed efficiently in a very challenging attic workspace. Very friendly and clean. Excellent job and would highly recommend.
