I found this company on the web and called them to check out the bathroom "dead" exhaust fan, which was not working. He checked the switch, opened the ceiling hatch, spent time checking the switch and wiring, and found and removed the broken fuse and catcher. A couple of days later, he came back with the new parts to finish the job quickly. On the side, he also replace the slow dripping showerhead.

Dear Samsung,

Thank you so much for the 5-star review!

We are incredibly glad that after the initial assessment we were able to get your bathroom ERV fan working again.

Fixing a completely dead unit is quite expensive and requires precise troubleshooting.

Thanks to the first assessment visit our team took the time to safely disassemble the unit and inspect the electronics until we found the short circuit and the blown fuse inside a faulty fuse box.

Once we located the root cause and replacing the parts, we were able to get everything fully restored.

We truly appreciate your business and your trust in our crew to handle the technical details.

Thank you for your words

Long story short: great job 👍 So, my bathroom mirror/cabinet door has been sagging on one side more and more ever since I moved in years ago. One past repair job seemed to just be delaying the inevitable. Samuel showed up on time, showed me why those hinges weren't working (you can see weird extra screws in the “before” pic), added a securing plate to compensate for the mount not being strong enough on its own, and even filled in an unrelated gap in the bathroom caulking I hadn't noticed. Works perfectly now. Highly recommended!

I’ve worked with CNG Contracting on several commercial inspections, and they’ve been outstanding from start to finish.
The entire experience was professional, organized, and very educational. The inspection reports were clear, detailed, and easy to follow — not just technical data, but practical information that actually helps you make confident decisions.

Claudio arrived right on time, and was extremely knowledgeable, he took the time to explain every part of the process. After the inspection, he personally walked me through all the photos and videos, breaking down each finding so I could fully understand what I was looking at. That extra step made a big difference.

The detailed report I received afterward became more than just paperwork — it turned into a valuable guide I can use as a reference for my commercial project.
It gave me full clarity on what to expect and how to plan each stage, from the first step to the last.

I truly appreciate the transparency, care, and expertise that CNG Contracting brings to their work.
It’s rare to find a company that combines professionalism with genuine customer care and integrity like this.

We hired CNG Contracting for a full home and basement renovation of our bungalow, which included disability-friendly access, new electrical throughout the house, new water lines from the city to the house, and new sewage lines to the city main connections. The project started on January 1st and was completed on March 20th, right on schedule.
From the initial planning and design to the final inspection and handover, Claudio and his team were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They took the time to understand our needs and answered every question clearly. Most importantly, he was patient and helped complete the details to claim the appropriate disability rebates and refunds.
We know that no renovation is ever perfect, but what truly sets CNG Contracting apart is how quickly and effectively they handled every challenge that came up. Every concern was addressed immediately and with care.
Our new basement (with wet bar and rental-ready rough-ins) and main floor kitchen, staircase, and added powder room turned out beautifully and exactly where we needed them, as we envisioned.
Even after completion, when minor attention was needed, Claudio personally followed up right away and ensured everything was taken care of with his team.
We confidently give CNG Contracting 5 stars and recommend them to anyone looking for a serious, dependable contractor who stands behind their work and truly protects your investment.

It was a pleasure engaging CNG Contracting. We were fortunate to have Claudio Marcelo Navarro, CEO, spearhead the project. His hands-on approach achieved timeliness, thoroughness, quality and price. Most important is that the work was well within our limited pensioners’ budget. Marcelo understood our needs by providing before and after pictures that passed all scrutiny, including that of the neighbours whose property he had to access. He and his team cleaned up all work area in a most professional manner.
Our senior citizens’ trade discount was built into the total project cost. There were no surprises.
Without reservation, we would hire CNG for our next house/backyard initiative.

From beginning to finish Claudio has gone above and beyond. The level of care, commitment, honesty and detail he provided has exceeded our expectations in every way. From the first time we spoke with Claudio over the phone we could immediately tell the level of knowledge and detail he was going to provide. On our first visit he spent 3 hours coming up with a realistic and accurate breakdown of cost, details and what we can expect for a finished product. His system made it easy for us to understand cost breakdowns and have control for modifications or changes right from the start. There was never a time he wasn't available for a response or a question. The kindness, respect and professionalism from Claudio is unmatched in the construction/renovation world, we had complete faith in his feedback and guidance. More than a few occasions he took his time to assess other things in the home that could need attention, even things that were short cut from prior contractors including caulking that was separating from brick, buffles missing in the attic for airflow and even bathroom ventilation that was never even routed properly, these are just to name a few! He documents all of the processes so you can see visually and understand every step taken the entire way. We truly made a friend during this process, the outcome of these renovations are breathtaking and we couldn't be happier with CNG Renovations and his team! He is the only person we will ever choose for any project!

When you speak with Claudio you will truly understand why we wrote this review.

Once again Thank You
When we first met Claudio, we had a great experience as he walked us through the entire project process according to what we needed; he made a drawing on the spot and accurately created the estimate.

Our questions were answered as we went along the process, including the selection of materials. He showed us which were high-quality and worth paying for.

When we started the project, the CNG Contracting team showed up on time, and everything was according to schedule. They had a process assuring the completion stage was on time, and we had no delay.

Something very important to us was that we had control of the finances; the payment schedule concluded after the stages, not before. Also, it was noticeable the system was created to protect our investment and we believe that the transparency that CNG Contracting runs their business is very reliable and trustworthy giving us access to a follow-up system where we could keep an eye on the project from the pictures and videos uploaded regularly.

Our experience with Customer service was perfect, whenever we had a question or need, any time of the day, we contacted Claudio and had all our questions explained and answered.

The CNG Team had the house protected from day ONE, covering floors/ staircase/ hallways and creating containments to minimize the dust throughout the project; overall, the house was clean, safe and organized every day.,

At the end of the project, we had a Professional (PDI) inspection and warranty included for any minor adjustments or touch-ups needed, as well as a 2-YEAR WARRANTY for all our plumbing / electrical and HVAC installed AND INSPECTED by CNG.

If you want to be surprised and impressed with things you were not expecting, CNG is the team to hire! They go above and beyond your expectations, no doubt about that; they are a very passionate team of guys who love what they do, respect your home, and protect your investment.

That’s why We would only recommend CNG Contracting to anyone looking for a (AAA) licensed, insured, respectful, honest, reliable, organized and professional people to do any renovation project in your home, from bathrooms, kitchens, basements, or creating an open concept adding value to your home as we did with ours.

We had a leak in our basement in May of 2022 which caused quite a bit of damage, this was mainly used as a play area for my two sons ages 5 and 2. With a lot of back and forth for months with the preferred insurance company’s contractor which clearly showed a lack of urgency on their part to repair the damages and frankly silently refused the work.

Giving the preferred insurance company’s every opportunity to fix the damages I was forced to find my own contractor in mid October of 2022 (yes, you read correctly 5 months later). With no where to turn I did a google search and came across Claudio’s company CNG Contracting. At first, I was hesitant and gave Claudio a high-level outline of my situation, which he was very honest and direct with me which put me at ease. Once he understood the situation, he came over to assess the damage and I have to say I was very impressed!

He explained how the process works and how he operates. You will receive an estimate with a timeline and cost brake down. You’ll also receive pictures showing the progression of the project (start, middle and finish). You get a real time update as to how things are going from day to day which was VERY accurate! Claudio’s crew was very clean, polite, courteous and their craftsmanship speaks for itself as it at a very high level!

I would highly recommend CNG Contracting as they do what they say and follow through. CNG Contracting is one of the good guys!

Claudio and his team are great at what they do and I wouldn’t hesitate, for a second, to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great general contractor in the GTA.

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of having Claudio renovate our main floor and roof. While the reno process can be stressful, Claudio was there to help us every step of the way. It was clear early on that Claudio was thorough (spent 2+ hours with us building a detailed project plan, in person, before we signed a contract), communicative (shared updates with us almost daily and always responded to questions quickly), personable (friendly, easy to talk to and explained everything) and an overall fantastic contractor (quality final product and everything was on schedule).

My fiancé and I had reached out to several contractors before deciding to work with Claudio. While other contractors took weeks to respond and estimated 3-6 months before they could even start, Claudio started the project one week after we signed! From signature to completion the project took only six weeks, an impressive feat considering the amount of work we had done.

The new kitchen and living area are both functional and beautiful, Claudio truly turned our vision into a reality. We are extremely pleased with our new living space!

If you are looking for an amazing general contractor in the Greater Toronto Area, look no further – Claudio and the team at CNG Contracting’s the one for the job.
