Ventilation & Exhaust
About this project
The range hood in this Toronto kitchen was connected to a loose foil duct that ran up into the bulkhead and never reached the outside. The grease stains inside the cabinet show how long it had been that way.
We removed the foil duct, opened the brick on the side of the house and ran a new duct from the kitchen straight outside. On the exterior wall we installed a new louvered vent cap and sealed it to the brick.
Smoke and cooking smells now leave the house instead of collecting in the ceiling. If you are not sure where your hood vents, book a ventilation inspection and we will trace it for you.
