What is hard about using the toilet?
Choose the one closest to your situation.
A standard toilet sits low for many people after surgery or with sore knees and hips. A raised seat adds a few inches of height so standing up takes less effort.
Clip-on risers can shift if they don't match the bowl shape. We fit a seat that bolts to the toilet so it stays in place when you lean on it.
A seat with arms or a toilet safety frame gives you something solid to push against. If there is a wall close by, a grab bar is another option.
Tell us what you see or hear. Write it in the booking form or message us on WhatsApp, and we'll tell you what it is.

Choosing the right raised toilet seat
A raised toilet seat makes the toilet taller, so you bend your knees and hips less when you sit and stand. It helps after a hip or knee replacement, and for anyone who finds a standard toilet too low. The key is a seat that fits your bowl and does not move.
Signs it may help
- You push hard on the sink or vanity to stand up.
- Your doctor or therapist has told you to avoid bending past a certain angle.
- You drop onto the seat instead of lowering yourself.
- A clip-on riser you bought slides or tips.
Seat, frame or new toilet
Most raised seats add about 2 to 5 inches, with or without arms. A safety frame goes around the toilet and gives you two handles to push on. If the toilet needs replacing anyway, a comfort-height toilet is a permanent option. Round and elongated bowls need different seats, so we check yours first and explain each option and its price before you decide.

Questions about raised toilet seat installation
How high should a raised toilet seat be?
It depends on your height and how your knees and hips feel. Most people do well when their thighs sit about level, and we can follow a height your therapist recommends.
Will a raised seat fit my toilet?
Most do, but round and elongated bowls need different models. We check the shape and the bolt holes before we choose or install a seat.
Is a seat with arms better than a safety frame?
Arms attached to the seat work well in tight spaces. A frame around the toilet feels sturdier to some people and can be moved. We explain both so you can choose.
Can other people in the house still use the toilet normally?
Some models lift off without tools, which suits a shared bathroom. Bolted models are steadier. Tell us who uses the bathroom and we suggest the right type.
Can you also install a grab bar beside the toilet?
Yes, grab bar installation is a separate service. Mention it in the booking form and we plan both in one visit.
