What is happening with the surface?
Choose the one closest to your situation.
Unsealed concrete absorbs water, which can freeze and flake the surface in winter. A penetrating sealer keeps most of the water out.
Salt and freeze-thaw cycles break down the top layer. We clean and seal it, and tell you if resurfacing would be the better option.
Bare concrete and interlock stain easily. We clean what we can before sealing, so new spills wipe up instead of soaking in.

How to choose a concrete sealer
Concrete, interlock and microcement are all porous. Without a sealer they soak up water, salt and oil, which leads to stains and, outside, to flaking after a few winters. A sealer does not make the surface new, but it slows that damage down.
Signs it's time to seal
- Water soaks in instead of beading on the surface.
- The surface looks faded or dusty.
- Small pits or flakes appear after winter.
- Oil and rust stains spread easily.
Choosing a finish
Penetrating sealers soak in and leave a natural look, which suits most driveways. Wet-look sealers give a darker, glossy finish that many people like on stamped or exposed aggregate concrete, but they can be slippery when wet and usually need redoing more often. Microcement floors and walls need a sealer made for that system. Most sealers need a dry surface and mild, dry weather to cure, so outdoor work is planned around the forecast. We recommend a sealer for your surface and agree on the price before we start.

Questions about concrete and driveway sealing
How often should a driveway be sealed?
It depends on the sealer and how much traffic and salt it gets. Many driveways are resealed every two to three years.
When can I drive on it again?
Usually after a day or two, depending on the sealer and the weather. We tell you the waiting time for the product we use.
Can you seal interlock as well as concrete?
Yes. Interlock is cleaned first, and if the joint sand is low, adding new sand before sealing is quoted separately.
Will sealing hide the stains?
No, the sealer locks in what is there. We clean the surface first, but deep oil stains may still show slightly.
Do you work on indoor microcement?
Yes, we can reseal microcement floors and walls with a compatible sealer. We check the existing finish first so the new coat bonds properly.
