A bench that racks or slides makes cutting and hammering harder. We build a solid bench, level it and fasten it to the wall if you want.
Clutter on every surface leaves no space for a project. We plan shelving, a bench and wall storage so the floor and the work surface stay clear.

Bench and shelving choices
A built-in bench with a thick top is the most solid option and can be made to your height and length. Kit benches are quicker to set up and can be moved later. For shelving, steel units suit heavy boxes, while wall shelves on brackets keep the floor open. Most people find a bench near hip height comfortable for standing work. If the area needs more outlets or better light, we tell you and price that separately, done to code.

Questions about workshop and workspace shelving
Can you build a workbench to my size?
Yes. We build it to the height, length and depth you want, and can add a lower shelf or drawers underneath.
Can shelving go on a concrete basement wall?
Yes, we use concrete anchors made for the load. If the wall is damp, we suggest freestanding steel shelving instead.
Will you set up shelving units I already bought?
Yes. We assemble them and anchor tall units to the wall so they can't tip.
Can you add outlets or lights to my workshop?
That is electrical work, quoted separately and done to code. Tell us what you need when you book so we can plan it.
How much space do I need for a workshop?
Even a corner of a garage or basement can work with a wall-mounted bench and vertical storage. We look at the space and suggest what fits.
