Yes. If you are switching to hard flooring (laminate, vinyl, or wood), we pry up and remove the wooden tack strips along the perimeter. If you are installing new carpet, we can leave them in place if they are in good condition.

What about the dust?

Old carpets trap years of dust and allergens. We minimize airborne particles by cutting the carpet into manageable strips, rolling it tightly, and vacuuming the subfloor immediately after removal.

Do you take the old carpet away?

Absolutely. We don't leave it on your curb. We haul away the carpet, underpad, and debris to a proper disposal facility, keeping your property clean.

After the assessment we define a clear scope of work (tasks, inclusions, timeline, and material assumptions). Your quote reflects that scope as a fixed price it won’t change unless you approve a scope change or we uncover a hidden condition that wasn’t visible during inspection (e.g., concealed rot).
