Is the process very dusty?

Demolition does create dust, but we take serious measures to contain it. We seal off the work area with plastic sheeting and use HEPA-filter vacuums during the grinding process to minimize the mess in the rest of your home.

Do you haul away the old flooring?

Yes. Heavy bags of tile or rolls of old carpet are difficult to dispose of. We handle the heavy lifting and responsible disposal of all debris, so you are left with a clean slate.

Can you fix squeaky floors once the old floor is out?

Absolutely. The best time to fix squeaks is when the subfloor is exposed. We can screw down loose plywood to the joists to silence your floor before the new material goes down.

What lies beneath your old floor is often a mystery. Removing carpet might reveal a plywood subfloor that is rotted or uneven, or pulling up tiles might damage the concrete underneath. After the assessment we define a clear scope of work (tasks, inclusions, timeline, and material assumptions). Your quote reflects that scope as a fixed price it won’t change unless you approve a scope change or we uncover a hidden condition that wasn’t visible during inspection (e.g., concealed rot).
